Memories

My Sister, Helen, has passed!

My Sister, Helen, was the first-born into the George and Agnes Glessner family. During those early family years, Mother and Dad stressed education, work ethics, and integrity.

It too was a time when women were beginning  to have dual rolls: first as a Mother raising a family,  and second, working to get an education and enter the working world.

Helen demonstrated an ability to succeed in doing both. She was an extraordinary sister with extraordinary abilities. It was an honor to have her as a sister and to be her brother. She established an excellent example for all the seven-children that would follow after her.

Her beloved and supportive husband, Paul, was always at her side, and together, they built a future and shared 66 years of love and companionship.
